Egypt: Nile Cruise with Luxor Extension
Step back in time on a cruise of Egypt
Explore the birthplace of civilisation with this fantastic cruise of a lifetime along the legendary Nile. Egypt has so many incredible places to see, and a cruise from Luxor is a great way to travel around, with the added convenience of only having to unpack your suitcase once. The journey is filled with amazing sightseeing opportunities with some leisure time thrown in to give you added independence during your holiday. There are various optional excursions to choose from during your free time and we can help you make your selection prior to your cruise from Luxor.
Your adventure begins with sightseeing tours along the banks of Luxor, after which Nile river cruise holidays make their way to Aswan where ancient temples remind us of the power that the ancient gods were believed to possess. Whilst in Aswan, guests will have a unique opportunity to take a trip on a felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat, and explore the different islands. On its return, the ship docks at Kom Ombo and Edfu before you cruise to Luxor for more sightseeing opportunities.
These Egypt cruises on the Nile are further enhanced by an additional stay in the city of Luxor. At the end of your cruise from Luxor spend another week in a specially selected hotel within the city. Make the most of your time there with some of the tempting excursions that we have to offer, including a visit to the Nubian Village, a hot air balloon ride or a flight over Cairo.
